Terms of Service

Last updated · May 1, 2026

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of robotla.com ("Site"), including the inquiry form and any rental services we provide ("Services"). By using the Site or engaging us for services you agree to these Terms.

01Acceptance of terms

By submitting a quote inquiry, signing a quote, or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

02Description of services

ROBOTLA provides short-term humanoid and quadruped robot rentals for events in California, including a certified operator, transportation, and basic event insurance. Specific deliverables, pricing, and dates are confirmed in writing in each signed quote.

Inquiries submitted through the Site are not bookings. A booking exists only after a quote is signed by both parties and any required deposit is received.

03Bookings, deposits & cancellations

  • Most bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
  • Cancellations more than 30 days before the event: full refund minus a 10% planning fee.
  • 14–30 days before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 14 days: no refund, but credit toward a future booking within 12 months.
  • Force majeure (weather, evacuation, illness) is handled case-by-case in good faith.

04Liability & insurance

We carry general liability insurance for every event. Our maximum liability under these Terms is limited to amounts paid by you for the affected booking, except where prohibited by law. Venue-specific insurance requirements should be raised at quote time.

05Acceptable use

You may not use the robots in ways that would endanger guests or third parties, in restricted airspace, in unauthorized military or law-enforcement contexts, or for any unlawful purpose. The operator's decision on safety is final.

06Intellectual property

The Site, brand, content, and software are owned by ROBOTLA. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission. Custom programming developed for your event is licensed for that event only unless the quote says otherwise.

07Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms over time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
