Every rental includes:
- The robot itself (Unitree G1, H1, Go2, etc.)
- A certified on-site operator for the duration of your event
- Transportation and setup within California
- Basic event insurance
- Pre-event programming and choreography (within reason)
- Tear-down and pack-up
Add-ons like custom branding, advanced choreography, additional operators, or out-of-state delivery are quoted separately.
No. The quote we send you is the full quote. We don't add fuel surcharges, "operator fees" on top of the day rate, or surprise insurance charges. If something is going to add cost (e.g., venue parking that we need to be reimbursed for), we'll flag it in writing before you sign.
Yes. Multi-day rentals typically save 15-30% compared to multiplying the day rate. Weekly rates save even more. Contact us with your event details for an exact quote.
For most rentals, we collect 50% upfront to secure the date and 50% before the event. For multi-day or large-format bookings, payment terms can be customized. We accept ACH, wire, and major credit cards.
Logistics
We deliver throughout California — from San Diego to the Bay Area, including Central Coast, Sacramento, and inland markets. Out-of-state delivery is available but quoted separately due to logistics complexity.
We do everything. Our operator arrives 1-2 hours before your event, sets up the robot, runs through the program with your team, and stays on-site to operate the robot live. You don't touch any hardware.
For longer events, yes — we need a standard 110V outlet to charge between sessions. For events under 2 hours, our battery covers the whole event. We'll confirm power needs in pre-event planning.
Product
Our robots walk, wave, gesture, dance, follow people, perform pre-programmed choreography, deliver pre-recorded speech, carry small objects, and follow live operator commands. They cannot have full conversations (yet), pick up arbitrary items, navigate stairs in all venues, or improvise.
We always discuss your specific use case in pre-event planning to confirm what the robot will and won't do.
Our humanoid robots run at under 60 dB during normal operation — quieter than a typical conversation. They're comfortable in indoor settings, including weddings and dinner parties. The robot dogs are slightly quieter (~55 dB).
Yes. Our humanoid robots have emergency stop systems, force-limited joints, and trained operators who maintain a safe perimeter. We don't allow guests to operate the robot. We've delivered hundreds of events without a single injury.
For events with children, we add an extra safety perimeter and the operator stays in close proximity at all times.
Yes. We offer custom vinyl wrapping (logo placement, brand colors), programmed brand-specific greetings, choreographed routines that incorporate brand actions, and live demos of brand capabilities. Custom work typically requires 2-3 weeks lead time.
Booking
Ideally 4-8 weeks. We can sometimes accommodate same-week bookings for simple events, but custom programming or branding requires 2-3 weeks minimum. The earlier you book, the more flexible our scheduling.
- More than 30 days before event: Full refund minus 10% planning fee
- 14-30 days: 50% refund
- Less than 14 days: No refund (but credit toward future booking)
We're reasonable about extreme circumstances (weather, family emergency) — talk to us.
We can't share live availability online (it changes hourly), but our team can confirm within an hour of your inquiry during business hours. If your first-choice robot is booked, we can usually offer alternatives that fit your event.
General
Highly unlikely — our robots are maintained between every event and our operators carry backup parts. If something does go wrong, we have a no-fault rule: any malfunction during your event is our problem, not yours. You'll receive a partial or full refund based on the impact.
Absolutely encouraged. We design the experience around social shareability. We can also provide custom hashtag prompts, photo backdrops, and choreographed photo poses to get the best content from your event.
Only with your written permission. We sign event-specific releases. If you want full confidentiality (e.g., a private wedding), we sign NDAs at no extra cost.
We're a small California-based team of robotics engineers, event professionals, and trained operators. Every operator on our roster has been through our certification program and has handled at least 20 live events before working with paying clients.
